2020 election fraud Feature

American democracy is in limbo after the long-anticipated, contested election has finally come to pass. More than a week removed from November 3, Democrats and Republicans peddle their own version of events as a corporate media blitzkrieg tries to manufacture consent for Joe Biden as president-elect in true Guaidó style. Trump plays the villain, ensconced in the Oval Office while his cabinet officials pitch weak legal challenges that fail to address substantive issues of electoral fraud and serve to simply prolong the stalemate and build up the tension for the grand finale.Read More »

Consent Factory | November 10, 2020

OK, so, that was not cool. For one terrifying moment there, it actually looked like GloboCap was going to let Russian-Asset Hitler win. Hour after hour on election night, states on the map kept turning red, or pink, or some distinctly non-blue color. Wisconsin … Michigan … Georgia … Florida. It could not be happening, and yet it was. What other explanation was there? The Russians were stealing the election again!

But, of course, GloboCap was just playing with us. They’re a bunch of practical jokers, those GloboCap guys. Naturally, they couldn’t resist the chance to wind us up just one more time.Read More »

The United States is Not a Democracy

Ben Hillier

Red Flag | November 02, 2020

The United States boasts one of the most farcical democratic systems to have been invented. The country’s constitution is an eighteenth-century relic penned by merchants and slave owners, amendments to which can be blocked by as few as 13 states representing less than 4 percent of the population. Its Supreme Court, conservative by nature and stacked with tenured-for-life justices, provides an institutional anti-majoritarian check on the popular will.Read More »

The US Election: The Times they aren’t A-changing

A Morning Star Editorial | November 07, 2020

IT was billed as the election that would triumphantly restore the liberal-capitalist centre: back to 2008, before the financial crash and succeeding crises shattered political systems globally.

Even if the late counts narrowly deliver more states than Joe Biden needs to secure the 270 votes in the Electoral College, an anti-democratic product of the slave-owning era, the US presidential election has certainly not done that.Read More »

Results are in: Americans Lose, Duopoly Wins, Trumpism wasn’t a Cult of Personality

Ramin Mazaheri

“Donald, you’re fired!” Maybe. But not “The Great Disgruntlement” he exploited to attain power. The Dems refuse to look at the legitimate reasons for that phenomenon.

It’s Day 3 of the US Election Debacle and – as we’re still mid-debacle – it’s very possible that Donald Trump will be the only conservative casualty, because it’s already certain the US election was an undeniable disaster for Democrats.

The Democrats had everything on their side in 2020: the mainstream media, the Deep State, the (self-proclaimed) moral high ground, more campaign money than ever, a hysterically-motivated base – and yet if Trump does end up winning Democrats will have nothing to show for all that. [Note: At this writing, Friday 10:06 AM, various reports are proclaiming Biden the winner on account of Pennsylvania vote tilting decisively to Biden.—Ed)

That should be stunning news. Here is the roundup of the non-presidential elections:Read More »

Don’t Fool Yourself: Your Biden Vote Was Not A “Vote Against Fascism”

Caitlin Johnstone

Well the post-election battle rages on, with rank-and-file Democrats freaking out that Trump will remain in office by force (spoiler: he won’t, he’ll leave office peacefully like his predecessors) and rank-and-file Republicans freaking out that Biden will enslave them to communism (spoiler: he won’t, he’ll enslave you to end-stage imperialist neoliberalism like everyone else).

There are accusations of cheating and shenanigans on both sides, and at this point I honestly don’t know how to care about any of it. Like what am I supposed to say? “Oh no, you mean the fake election for two fake candidates is really fake??” One corporate war whore is as good as another. Let Raytheon pick the winner for all I care.
