Rodriguez Parilla explained that “CNNEspañol disrespects the right of Americans and citizens of the world to receive free and truthful information in the same way that FOX channel manipulates images and videos with high technology.”

Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodríguez Parrilla denounced on Thursday new destabilization attempts by the U.S. and rejected the U.S. decision to impose new sanctions against top government officials.

His administration is doing everything possible to meet the needs of the Cuban people amid the economic damage caused by the U.S. blockade.

On Monday, Cuba’s President Miguel Diaz-Canel addressed the nation to analyze the actions of those trying to destabilize the Revolution by taking advantage of the crisis prompted by the U.S. blockade and the new COVID-19 wave.

Accompanied by his cabinet, the President reviewed the country’s current epidemiological and economic situation, which the international campaign against the Revolution does not usually mention or even explain.

Besides pointing out that most of the people who took to the streets are not against the revolution but have legitimate dissatisfactions or doubts, he emphasized once again that the blockade has limited the Cuban government’s ability to acquire all the medicines that the people require.

In the short term, the arbitrary actions of the United States have prevented Cuba from accessing almost US$2 billion that would be required to acquire medical supplies.
